It never gets old. The colors and the view is something you can’t get enough of. I went out and decided that I wanted an updated look of this skyline. After a bit of scouting, I settle on Kangaroo Point as my position and set out to the cliffs to see where my perfect vantage point would be.
I started out on the top of of the cliffs and then worked my way down by the water. I tried a few different spots along the riverbank, but settled on a small peninsula to prop my tripod up.
While I enjoyed that image, I really was looking for something else. I climbed back up the cliffs, up the stairs, but still up the side of the cliff. Having to dodge the personal training sessions on the stairs on the way back up made for a more interesting evening.
That was it, that’s what I was looking for. I felt that I accomplished what I set out for today. I still drove to the other side of the bridge to get one different look before packing up and heading home. A handheld, three frame HDR.
